Sometimes I gaze at my pic of the Dali Llamia [spelt rong] . His face brimming with compassion I think about those pesky bugs and leave them be. But often I feel like a light bulb camacarsey[spult ring] bugs~ squish .
I do say sorry though, survival of the fittest and all that.

I use to live and let live, and I was happy. Then somewhere along the line I started squishing things.

Tonight during a little campfire to warmup after a swim my son decides to ask if the wood likes to be burned. My answer it doesn't care. Daughters answer it doesn't have feelings. Son replies everything has feelings.

Gets me wondering, how do we know?

Sounds lovely where you live. Sometimes when I'm suffering real bad I think it's a sacrifice so someone else can be happy. Same when happy, all things suffer for some reason .Some type of Buddhism they walk so carefully not to squash any living thing but there are so many living things on our skin, how far can one take it.

God's country ...

A local city was having problems with water. A friend was asked if our water was okay and she replied "nothing wrong with the water here, this is God's country." It does feel like paradise as long as I keep eating my effexor. :o

I must be in an arguementative mood tonight, probably started with my little guy, but I can't agree with you that someone has to be sad so someone else can be happy. Don't ask me how I know this though?

Just my way of coping-finding a reason same as now I'm feeling so good but I had to get so low to get here .Opposites.Don't know inbetween suppose I see everthing in black or white.Don't believe in God nor follow any religion but spiritually without drugs I've kissed a kind of nirvana but not as often as I'd like.
I live in a ugly place that I've chosen to evoke an inner/mind landscape of beauty, escapism, I see flowers growing out from garbage.

plants do have some mechanism for sensing that they are being damaged... some sort of 'pain' receptor that has been scientifically messured... but once its a log, im sure that the log doesnt care if it is burned or not...

pet rocks on the other hand...

This might sound trivial, but try getting a flowering plant or cactus to add some colour to your place. There's some nice finches that sing real nice. On the negative side then you have to clean up the bird cage.

Are you working? If not try a drastic change, like a move to a little town.

If there is an empty lot check into starting a neighbourhood garden. I use to be big on gardening vegetables but now don't have the umph to get the seeds into the ground. But I do like to sit in the yard plucking weeds. I'm definitely happier outdoors.
