Actually, that's a pattern for the melancholic sub-type of depression. Waking up feeling worse, and feeling slightly better as the day goes on. That's depression, melancholic...

But whatever it's called, I'm sorry you're feeling it. Makes it harder to razz you, you know...

Dunno Racer, still feel kinda bad.
Anxiety creeping in.
Like dread for no reason.
Really missing T right now.
Losing the idea she exists.
Like mebbe she never did or something.
I think ikid is leaking thru. Sucks.
But you razz me ANYtime.
I like razzing.
Makes me feel like everythings gonna be OK.
Yup, I HATE it when that little kid is around and she gots emots and stuff, and it freaks me. She is SO foreign to the adult me.
This too shall pass.
See me cope.

I'm sorry you are struggling with feeling so bad when you wake up. I think it has to do with you missing your T. When does she return? I wish I could comfort you so you don't feel so bad.
I love your name, Iwillsurvive.............yes you will. You are good and strong and powerful. It sucks to have hard times. I hope it passes.
I think I feel bad 24 hours a day lately. I'm dragging on the ground and need some sleep.
Take care and I wish you well.

I do that too, IWS. Mornings are the worst, and I've been told it's because of my dreams.

What I do now is keep a dream journal- write down what little I can remember, (and usually it's just vague fragments) but it helps me get through the really bad part of the morning. I do little drawings, sketches, and squiggles to illustrate it, and stick glittery moons and stars in it- so it gives me a little something to look forward to now when I get up.

(((hugs!)))
hope time flies until your T is back again. :-)

* yeah fortunately for me it don't happen all the time, but its lousy when it does. I seldom remember my dreams. The one thing I DID remember is weird. I was upset cuz I didn't have a decent weapon to protect myself, I had this kitchen knife we have thats wide and no good for fighting, and I was scared cuz it was so useless, but thats all I remember. Weird.

*WOW, now thats a WAY cool idea. I like that. I unfortunately/fortunately! have 2 small kids, so the morning usu starts with a bang.

*thanks Bil, thats so sweet.
Have you gotten your new book and is it of any use yet? I find it hard to learn stuff from books, but you could ask stuff here on babble too and that could be useful.
Take care.

I got a good book from the library today- (it's been on order since October! must be popular) written by a psychotherapist who is also a shaman.
She talks about various soul-retrieval methods she uses, and it's really interesting.

I'm reading it a little at a time- I've a bad habit of skimming through books without absorbing the info, so I want to spend a bit of time on this one.

It's not possible to do this sort of thing without training, but without a T. I'm grasping at straws... I'm going to try to do some of the meditations she recommends.
