The 7 Gates on the Road to theCrown of Life

Posted by Lou Pilder on January 28, 2005, at 16:02:28

Friends,
One of the aspects of my faith experiance involves what was revealed to me about the antichrist.
What I will be writing here is not what is the popular teachings on the subject. Anti could mean against, or without, or instead of , or some other meaning. The Greek word, anointed, is Christos, which in to English is christ. The Hebrew word for anointed is messiah from meshiach. With this understanding of the word, I will proceed.

Friends,
The popular teachings about the Antichrist center around the antichrist being a person. Napolian was ascribed by some to be the person in question, then some wrote that the antichrist was Moussilini,or Hitler. They are all dead, so I do not think that any of them were the antichrist.

What qualities must one possess to be the antichrist? Is immortality one of these qualities?

Friends,
Popular teachings about the antichrist center around the antichrist being a person. And when this person is revealed, according to popular teachings, certain events surround the appearing.
Since I do not think thatthese events that these popular teachings have happened, I do not think that anyone that has died could qualify to be the antichrist according to those teachings.
But what I have been revealed about the antichrist is not the same as popular teachings.

As I understand it, the Anitchrist is a personification of Satan.
However, the spirit of antichrist has always been present.
If you want to identify what the spirit of antichrist is, ask yourself what would Jesus want me to believe about myself? Then look at the opposite view, and after doing that, link up things, events, and people to these two opposing perceptions. Anyone who purposely tries to make another person feel low about themselves, through verbal, emotional, or physical abuse is influenced by the spirit of anti-christ. Anti means against Christ.

Christ would want you to be born and would believe in you, would see your light and potential. Anti Christ would put you down. Until "the" Antichrist appears on the scene, we should be aware of the spirit of antichrist that is ever present among us. Once we can identify what the spirit of antichrist is and how it feels, and also what the spirit of Christ is and how it feels, we will be better able to recognize the Antichrist when he appears.

This Antichrist when he appears, is a human being who will have spiritual powers to perform miracles. He will be the greatest deceiver that has ever been born because he will deceive many into thinking he is the Messiah. He will want to claim governance of the world, and will just about succeed.

Was it revealed to you in a dream? A vision? Or just through cogitation? The word "revealed" implies to me that someone or something showed you something. Does this make sense?

Thank you for this. This is my understanding as well. I look forward to more of your involvement in this conversation as I promised Dr. B I would stay off of this board.

Sorry Dr. B, couldn't resist getting involved. I'll try to behave.

Maybe I should let ray speak for himself but I think he explained that in the very first sentence in his post, which was:

As I understand it, the Anitchrist is a personification of Satan.

Satan is against Christ. He is the opposite of Christ, he is the deceiver. All of this is in the Christian Bible. I know your beliefs are different and I respect that.

I'm sure ray will give more clarification for you when he returns.

There is a popular teaching about the antichrist called,{...dispensational premillliniumism...]and variations of it.
Some of this teaching has incorperated in it that there will be a person that will be the antichrist. The teaching is usually based on interpretting various bible verses in a particular way. Jerry Falwell has his teaching on this and there have been popular books written about this teaching. A Google search perhaps,[...antichrist,Jerry Falwell...] could bring up answers about [...dispensational premillliniamism...].

With all due respect, Jerry Falwell is not the be all and end all on the Christian belief of the Anti-Christ. Don't limit your new understanding to what only he has to say.

I wish ray would re-enter this conversation because I should never have spoken for him. He is far more versed in explaining than I ever could be, even though we are not of the same faith.

I value your interest in this topic. In an extremely condensed version to answer your question to what you're probably hoping for, the answer is yes.

I will invite ray to re-enter this conversation. His knowledge is far greater than mine and I should never have spoken for him before. That was a mistake on my part.

ray - I'm sorry for speaking on your behalf. Could you please come back and continue with this discussion. You know much better than I do on how to explain. That's very embarrassing for me to say but it's the truth. Scott is looking for some insight and I think he deserves your knowledge. Please accept my apologizes.

FRiends,
I have written that my faith experiance has revealed to me many things about the topic of the antichrist. What has been revaled to me concerning this subject is not the same as dispensatioanal premillinialism as taught by many popular people. Hal Lindsey' book, Jerry Falwell's sermons, Dick Lehey C.I. Scofield's writings, and many others prescribe to variations of the concept of dispensational premillliniaism. The doctrine was popularised in the early 1800's.

In reply to Lou's offers some clarification- » Lou Pilder, posted by Lou Pilder on February 1, 2005, at 13:02:05

Friends,
The word antichrist is of two words. Anti and christ. Anti could mean against or without or in antangosism to, or replaced by, or substituted for, or some other meanings. Christ is a Greek word that means anointed, (christos). So the word antichrist could mean against the anointed, or in place of the anointed, or substituted for the anointed, or in antagonism to the anointed.
This anointing of someone is what my faith experiance revealed to me. This experiance revealed to me who the antichrist is . It is this anointing that enabled me to overcome addiction and depression. The anointing is the power to overcome what you can not overcome on your own. Who can love their enimies? Who can forgive those that despitfully use you? Who can give someone their cloak that stole your coat? Who could forgive someone 70 times 70 times?
When I was on The Road, I encountered a Rider on a White Horse. I asked Him what He was doing. He said to me, "The spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to bring the good news, He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives , to comfort all that mourn, to give beauty for ashes, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness, that they may be called trees of rightiousness, everlasting joy shall be theirs."

Friends,
What is in place of the anointing? What is against the anointing? What is the antichrist? Who is the antichrist?
The anointing is something that all can have. This anointing comes into your being, your flesh. It is Living Water and the Bread of Life. This life gives you the power to overcome and receive the Crown of Life. The anointing can be in you.
How can you have this anointing? The anointing is not of the world and can not be substituted by anything of the world. The substitution of worldly things for the anointing is anti anointing. Will fame or prestige give you the anointing? would welth? Would being a member of a group?
When I was on The Road, I asked the Rider about the anointing. He said to me,"Love not the world nor the things that are in the world. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life is not of God but is of the world. And the world pases away, and the lust of it with it, but he that does the will of God abides forever."

Yes, Lou, but isn't it the description of the AC in the Scripture that determines its definition and not the logic of an etymologist? I am more interested in knowing what is the AC according to the prophecies contained in the New Testament that describe him and the events that are to surround his coming.

I am a bit dismayed to here this. It has been my heart to love the world and all the things in it precisely because they are the Creation of God.
