Bipolar. Schizoaffective, manic type. 1-2 neuroleptics (hopefully atypicals). Anticonvulsants. Ugh!
I'm just trying to get better. I'm now leaning towards no trileptal, get that Tofranil-PM, so the line up will look like this...
...300 Neurontin (3 doses, 100 each), 30mgs/Abilify, 150mgs Tofranil-PM.

I've now started taking fish oil. I'm adding it to my ongoing Orthomolecular cocktail at a very, very high dose. Apparently, it can aid weight loss at a high dose, so I take 16 grams/day of the vitacost mega-efa stuff.
With high dose taurine (mood stabilizer) and niacinamide (anti-anxiety, anti-psychotic, antioxidant) on board, could I just take the abilify and tofrnail-pm for mood, agitation, anxiety, psychosis, etc. ? With a little Neurontin on top for anxiety and a little bit of sedation?

If you are going to disregard the suggestions offered to you, why bother asking? Are you disregarding the suggestions offered by your psychiatrists?You are beginning to sound ill. You should probably add back the Trileptal temporarily until you come up with an alternative treatment plan.

What differentiates Schizoaffective disorder from bipolar is that psychotic symptoms are experienced between mood episodes. You basically would experience psychotic symptoms all the time and then have either bipolar type mood episodes or depressive mood episodes.
Don't 'lean' towards no Trileptal. If your Bipolar or Schizoaffective, bipolar type, you need a mood stabilizer or you're going to experience mood swings whether you're on an antipsychotic or not. Being on the Tofranil without a mood stabilizer will like cause further destabilization.
I'm Bipolar I and I can't take an AD without a mood stabilizer.
An elegant solution for you might be to push the Neurontin up to 2400 mg-it can be used as a mood stabilizer at that dose.

Yes, Lyrica can be used instead. I used 600 mg of Lyrica for mood stabilization a few years back.
