i need to kno how u kno if ur an addict i kno its one thing to do it sometimes but i need to kno if ur only an addict if u do it alot can u b one if u only do it like once a week or two weeks? its every chance possible its just not everyday chances,i need to kno kk tnx

In my opinion no chance at once a week.
Of course you might derange yorself somewhat.I have the terribly old fashioned (no doubt incorrect, if that makes anyone feel any better) opinion that coke isn't addictive.
But the meaning of the words seems to have changed in the last 30 years.

im guessing youve never done it after u do it u feen for it like automatically i did i tonce n was like im not gonna b addicted at all i do other drugs n dont ever get addicted i smoke pot all the time but i never sit there n go i need some pot but with coke like i think about it n im like omg yumm so good i want it sooo bad n then i start thinking bout it n try to find it but its def. addictive my uncle is terribly addicted to crack its def. addicted i just wanna kno wut makes some one an addict i kno if i had miney i would get it all the time n after i do a little bit i want it soooooo bad i could go on forever but its def. addictive i kno to many crack heads n coke addicts to think its not

I think you should seek treatment now. Yes it sounds like you're an addict you crave it. And before it gets out of hand please seek treatment you will be glad later you did. You might want to post on the addictions board. Love Phillipa

I had coke a few years ago and it was one of the best nights of my life.
If I had it around I'd end up taking it every 10 minutes.
But if you only take it once a week, what you are dealing with is a psychological craving. For me that involved freedom from the awfulness of being me. I felt so free, just for a little while. I could go up to people at the party and say 'I'm Declan, who are you?' and best of all, simply not care what was to come back from them.
It is obviously very moreish so you have to be careful. If you (or me?) get your hands on enough there'll be trouble.

It's hard to say... there is no easy response to your question.
If you think you may have a problem, then you probably do.
You can usually gauge an addiction, by examining the effect the drug has on your everyday life-- not necessarily the frequency at which you use the drug.
For example:
Are you bingeing on coke?, choosing cocaine over friends, family? paying for coke instead of, say, paying for your rent? Are you missing work, or school because you are high, or coming down? Do you spend a lot of time thinking about doing cocaine, or getting it?

The way i see it, if "I" use ANYthing that alters my mind or mood at ANY time, for ANY reason, even just to let loose,
food, sex, gambling, etc.etc.etc. i should probably ask myself the question "WHY."
if im in a good place i'm naturally feeling good, if not, i'll probably look for help to get me there!!!
this disease is cunning and baffling and VERY VERY progressive, and easy to fall into the trap of
instant gratification it gives me, and it doesnt matter how much or how often to get a good hold on me.
best idea, if someone thinks they dont have a problem, leave it all alone and dont ever touch it,
instead i pray they, look inside themselves and find out why they need to find outside help to feel whole. Be good to yourself and take care.

i knew some one with that name b4 n my friends had it today n i begged it for him but he only gave me a tapped cig but he gave me speed instead i just feel calm when i do it like everything in the worldis right for even just a second n i love that

Um, yeah..if nothing else I think you most definitely have a drug abuse problem. Not judging here, with all these freakin' probs we have, it is very tempting. If i didn't have my family, i would probably still be drinking. Just please be careful.

Mind you .6 is death. It didn't take much more to see that,regardless of never drinking before that time, I became an alcoholic. Since then, I've been sober for 5months now. Let me tell you about being a cocaine addict.
You start out just using occasionally, for parties and stuff.
Then you realize that the stuff is pretty good for studying, after all, it helps you focus and sleeping is the last thing on your mind.
So now you have an awesome little party favor, and a study aid..
But you are sleeping a HELL of a lot less, so you decide that a little bump or two will help you get through the day, after all, you don't want to sleep through class or work.
So, now you have a party favor, a study aid, and a lil' something that gets you through the mundane , mediocre life that you live day to day. After all, everything is better when you are coked up, right?
After a few weeks (btw, every week that goes by is ALWAYS the last week that you will snort...), you realize that coke makes your life 10 times more awesome than it was before, so you are pretty much using every day (or every other day..) through class, through work, for studying, for partying, for 'getting in touch with your inner poet...'
for whatever.
Then you are out of cash, after all, that sh*t is expensive. But, you have Visa, or Mastercard, and they have this wonderful feature called cash advance.
Then you are broke, taking out money that you don't have off of your credit card, and pretty much hooked on some sh*t that is going to permanently change your brain chemistry.So, in short, you know you are addicted when you can think of nothing but coke. You know you are an addict when you are willing to spend money you don't have, risk losing people who you care about, and when you cease to care about yourself, your looks, and your health.
Personally, I have never been the same since my 2 years of cocaine addiction. I have never been really, truly HAPPY since my days of cocaine abuse.
Get out while you can. Trust me.

yeah i have insomnia now ive always had problems sleeping but now im up like all night n i sit there n think man if i had some coke i wouldnt have to worry i could just stay up n thats exactly right i think about it all the it calms me down i can sit there n just do the same thing forever n i think about it all the time n today i did speed bc i was so tired n alot of my friends got mad n there mad i do coke n i always say im not gonna do it ne more but then i do sooo i say wont then i get upset when i cant stop thinking about it then i want it even more bc im upset that i cant stop n im like wtf but im tryin n imma keep tryin to control myself when its offered to me

isn't there some legal drug she can move to? like dexamphetamine for "anxiety"? which has a better "hit" and which is more toxic in the long run?
