Let me tell you about being a cocaine addict.
You start out just using occasionally, for parties and stuff.
Then you realize that the stuff is pretty good for studying, after all, it helps you focus and sleeping is the last thing on your mind.
So now you have an awesome little party favor, and a study aid..
But you are sleeping a HELL of a lot less, so you decide that a little bump or two will help you get through the day, after all, you don't want to sleep through class or work.
So, now you have a party favor, a study aid, and a lil' something that gets you through the mundane , mediocre life that you live day to day. After all, everything is better when you are coked up, right?
After a few weeks (btw, every week that goes by is ALWAYS the last week that you will snort...), you realize that coke makes your life 10 times more awesome than it was before, so you are pretty much using every day (or every other day..) through class, through work, for studying, for partying, for 'getting in touch with your inner poet...'
for whatever.
Then you are out of cash, after all, that sh*t is expensive. But, you have Visa, or Mastercard, and they have this wonderful feature called cash advance.
Then you are broke, taking out money that you don't have off of your credit card, and pretty much hooked on some sh*t that is going to permanently change your brain chemistry.So, in short, you know you are addicted when you can think of nothing but coke. You know you are an addict when you are willing to spend money you don't have, risk losing people who you care about, and when you cease to care about yourself, your looks, and your health.
Personally, I have never been the same since my 2 years of cocaine addiction. I have never been really, truly HAPPY since my days of cocaine abuse.
Get out while you can. Trust me.
