Posted by Tepiaca on October 24, 2005, at 22:09:36

hi Nardil and Non Nardil users
I wonder if you could share with me your experiences if you had a Nardil washout
period.

How did you feel the first days?, good , bad ?
What happen in the 14 days ? do you used other
drugs to help ?
Did you feel better or worse when Nardil was
completely out of your body ?
Did you return to Nardil ?
Why did you leaved Nardil ?

And all you can tell me is well received

Thank you very much !

Small doses of lithium (300-600mg, dont know blood levels offhand) often bring back a parnate response.

Chairman,

Have you combined the two before? Lithium and Parnate? I'm getting a wonderful boost since starting 600mg Lithium Carbonate last week. It's night and day... I wish I had started much earlier.

Time will tell though. It's only been a week. Regardless, it's nice to have relief for however long. Although relief followed by a slide can be a horrible tease. :)

300mg Wellbutrin SR
5mg Selegiline HCL
600mg Lithium Carbonate

Hi Brian

Glad you're feeling better :-)

What's your lithium blood level at the moment?

Hi Ed!

I'm not sure of my blood level. It's therapeutic though, which is the important part, since I know I am getting a favourable response. My pdoc isn't a huge fan of blood levels, since side effects usually tell you when you're going too high for augmentation purposes.

I imagine it's somewhere between 0.4-0.6 mm/L, but that's just an educated guess. :)

Hi Brian,

>side effects usually tell you when you're going too high

I agree..... but it would be very interesting to know your blood level!

Poor Ed, still trying to learn abt Li blood levels. ;) I posted a question a while back and very few folks responded. I'm guessing a lot of pdocs agree w/ Optimist's.

I only had my Li level done the once (.5, AD augmentation). I recently tried to go up a little more b/c I was *still* somewhat depressed. It didn't work though. It made me sicker, so I'm back at the lower dose.

Other random Li level info that I learned from my pdoc: the Li blood level generally stays stable unless you are in a manic state. In a manic state your body metabolizes the med more quickly. Interesting, huh?

Best,
EE
