im having lot of suicidal taughts too bad :(
why am i suffering so much? i cant take it anymore.... i lost my best friend, she was a girl, the geodon gave me uncontrolled eye movement, i was so stupid to continue this medicine, i already had a bad reaction on it, my short term memory was destroyed, i gained weight, sedation, dizziness, akathasia, photophobia, eye blinking, uncontrolled eye movement... THIS DRUG IS EVIL
the name alone GEODON, means witched
like i said i cant take it anymore

she doesnt care about me anymore, we were very good friends. i insulted her because of my problems i had i taught she didnt like me anymore and did it because of that it must have been my paranoia, something evil is trying to destroy me, i pray from time to time for help from god. i know he is out there, please god i need your help. i am not saying psychiatry is evil, they have helped me achieve my goal with my work, but now they let me down with the GEODON and ABILIFY

god im sorry what i did, please forgive me, i need your help, with my work i can help other people who need it more then I

i taught psychiatry was behind me and believed in my goal i had in my mind.... when i now take zyprexa 10 mg 2 weeks i am almost blind it worsens the dystonia or TD i dont know it really... I really taught Zeldox (GEODON) would be the right medicine for me... look what kind of mess it has brought me into. I need help... life is good, yes it is...

i just read

When dystonia is due to use of an antipsychotic drug, promptly taking diphenhydramineSome Trade Names
BENADRYL
NYTOL
SOMINEX
by injection or by mouth usually stops the episode quickly, and the antipsychotic is discontinued.

Hi Jeroen,

I have to go to bed now because it's very late :-) I just wanted to know that I've read your post and will reply tomorrow. Overall, I think Clozaril could be a useful treatment for you.

Best Regards,
Ed.

PS. Do you speak French?

I believe Botox has been successful in the treatment of blepharospasm...in fact, it is one of few FDA approved conditions of Botox...

"BOTOX® (Allergan Inc., Irvine, CA, USA) was licensed by the Food and Drug Administration in 1989 for the treatment of strabismus and blepharospam. This formulation has since been used the treatment of cervical dystonia, cerebral palsy and a number of other conditions..."

Hi Jeroen :-)

If you need an antipsychotic, clozapine (Clozaril/Leponex) might be the best option. When a person has developed tardive dyskinesia/dystonia due to an atypical antipsychotic such as Geodon, clozapine can be a useful treatment. Not only is clozapine an effective antipsychotic, it can also improve tardive dyskinesia. Although clozapine can cause a lot of drowsiness, the drowsiness may decrease over time.

All the best,
Ed.

Clozaril is the weakest of the "second generation atypicals" and has the least proven relation of any towards tardive dyskinesia whatsoever.

That being said, I dont know what country you're in, but in the US, for its reintroduction to the market, Novartis Pharma requires a $9,000 monitoring program to prevent other things that, if any should be more concerning. It runs around a 2% risk of agranulocytosis, or low white blood cell count and blood draws must be monitored on a regular basis.

Otherwise, its basically like its cousin Zyprexa, with a somewhat greater percentage of urinary conditions.

That all being said... if you truly want to make a try at your condition... then you go with the above as "informed consent".

I say all this with feeling your discomfort but you have to try one thing at a time, and eventually something will help you more than another. I leave you with an American quote -- As Yogi Berra said, If you come to a fork in the road, take it.
