has anyone smoked pot while taking paxil, or any other AD? i was just wondering what to expect if i did. just curious.

I wouldn't say that. I smoked way more pot when I went on meds.

thank you all for the response, i guess everyone is different and i appreciate all your inputs. erik that was an interesting link you sent me, although i probabbly wouldn't want to mix my meds with all kinds of other drugs, i might try pot and see, and i will only have a bit to see how i feel.

I have been a pot smoker for years, and about 2 years ago started on Paxil. For a while, and before the Paxil, I stopped smoking because of paranoia. A friend of mine who also got on Paxil told me he loved to smoke bud with Paxil, and that he didn't have any paranoia. So, I began smoking again about a year and a half ago, and couldn't enjoy it more. I try not to get stoned anymore, but I do smoke enough to get fairly high and then stop. I no longer have any paranoia, so the combo has been great.
Again though, each person is different, but for my friend and myself, we both think its actually better smoking on Paxil than before.keep us posted on your results/decision!

so you dont get paranoia anymore? thats whats been happening with me but ihavnt tried it yet with the paxil. i so think i will soon, just to see.

Nope, no more paranoia. I used to, before I was on paxil, but not anymore. How long have you been on Paxil and do you think it's working or having any positive effects on you? I had been taking Paxil for a couple of months before I decided to try smoking again...

i've only been on for 2 weeks and i had really positive results at first but i feel they are lessening i think i might up my dose to 10 mg. i want to try smoking but i think i should wait until i feel significantly better.
