hi , how can I stop my lost of hair???
I have tried many diferents shampos , but nothing seems to work.
I only have to pass my hand over my head , and hundreds of them full my hand.
is this Alopecia ?? or something like that
What can I do??
I have take many drugs , maybe that is the reason

hi tepiaca, I'm sorry to hear about this. What meds are you on? I do know that Depakote is famous for this (from what I have heard and experienced from a lot of people) Why do you think you are losing your hair? I lose hair a lot also. I have heard great results vith supplements. In my opinion I believe one has to work from the inside out. Shampoos and conditioners may very well help, but to really benefit, vitamins and/or supplements need to start from within your bloodstream and get to the skin and out to the hair shaft to help the problem.
Try this:
Biotin (2000mcg)
Zinc (100mg)
Magnesium (500mg)
Selenium (200mcg)**The amounts vary depending on each individual but you can play around with what I posted here.

I was losing my hair when I took Depakote. It was awful.
My hair is thinning anyway (I'm female). I went to have my hair cut and she recommended that I use Nioxin "cleanser", "Scalp Therapy", and a third product that you squirt on your scalp when you comb your hair out. My understanding is that this stuff is just one step down from Rogaine (which they have for women, too). You can only get it in hair salons.
I stopped taking the Depakote and a month later my hair stopped falling out. I'm not growing a full head of hair, but things seem OK to me. I've been using it for a little over a year.
If you can figure out which drug is doing it, you will probably need to stop the drug in order to stop the hair loss. The shampoo etc. will just help you regrow hair - it won't stop the loss.
