Well I think my scale was on the fritz, or I didn't read it right, but I only gained 5 pounds not 8. Anyway I am still upset about it and have decided to not buy any of that bad carb stuff, so if it's not around I won't be tempted to eat any more.

water retention!..... okay, that i can understand .... i can drink 8 pounds of water in a weekend .... make that, i SHOULD drink 8 pounds of water in a weekend (!), since a gallon weighs about 6 pounds.... and these days it seems we are supposed to drink lots and lots of water.
a point i wanted to make (and i don't think i did) is that science is just recently discovering the therapeutic benefits of some specific carbohydrates and therapies from these disoveries are now being developed.
i have extrapolated from this news that we may be subconsciously compensating our neurotranmitter imbalances by trying to use carbs on our inter-synaptic environments ..... maybe .... maybe not.
another 'nutrient' to promote is water .... i suspect that dehydration is worse for the neurotransmitters than it is for our muscles or our digestion, if only because the healthy electrolyte balance has to have a greater impact on our neurotransmitters ..... that and i tend to not drink water unless i make myself, especially when i get my lex SEs.

I just switch to Lexapro from Celexa. I was on 40 mg of Celexa and I went to 10 mg of Lexapro. How long do you figure it will take to see a difference? And what differences have you felt?

>I used to live about 15 minutes from the beach in Ft. Lauderdale, but moved to the Orlando area the beginning of the year and now I am about 1 to 1-1/2 hours from the beach also. I keep saying I am going to drive over there but may have to settle for the pool :-(. The pool just keeps the kids confined to closely to me LOL.

Yes, I am much happier, it gets better each day with the Lexapro and, barring any sudden poundage, I think it's working!! My kids and husband say I'm much happier, seem more relaxed, so I think that's probably the most objective proof for me!

I do not post much as often the energy is not there, but I have to say too, that it has been soooo gooood to watch people like Wayne (blkvettes) and L'il Jimi and Luzaluna and the rest get good results from the Lexapro. Even those who have not been as fortunate have come away better informed about their options and have been supported through the SE's.

Hi, its very hard to pass up free rent no matter where it is. The beach is the most beautiful place on earth to me. At night when it is quiet, the waves crashing on the shore. The stars are so bright!!!!! Its not to bad in the daytime either!!!!!!

Where I plan to work and have a "job" that consist of nothing but snorkeling, diving, windsurfing, etc. My dream job LOL. Just a few years away :-)

Hey all, I will be visiting Florida at the end of June for 4 or 5 days. We will probably go to Clearwater beach. Is this a good beach to visit? We will also be going to disney for a day. I cant wait!!!!!!!!!

Yes, its a good beach as far as I remember. I went there as a kid and have fond memories!!!! My opinion Daytona is the best, but others will disagree. They are all pretty good beaches here. My wife works at Disney. I hope you have a safe and most of all HAPPY trip!!!!!!!!
