Hi,
Anyone on an AP + Stim at the same time. I was thinking of asking my pdoc about this since both of these meds are helpful to me. Is there any reason to think this is dangerous or just plain silly? Any thoughts are greatly appreciated.

It's certainly not silly. Just because anti-psychotics have antagonistic effects at D2 receptors and stimulants are thought to work through stimulating D, does not mean that they are simple opposites in terms of action.
Definitely, its been found that people who are prone to psychosis are statistically worsened by stimulants. So -- if you've never been psychotic -- who knows what it would do? Only one way to find out.
I'd say try a short acting one like Ritalin in a baby size dose, in case it has some unexpected result like increased anxiety. Short acting is always better to begin with.

I was on zyprexa and provigil(I know, not a classic stim).

Please notice everybody that 'adrafinil' is contra-indicated with anti-psychotics such as HALOPERIDOL & CHLORPROMAZINE and perhaps the same should apply to Provigil/modafinil?
Anti-psychotics of Zyprexa type are allowed with both medicines (adraf. and modaf.) though...Regards, Iago

I take Risperdal and Ritalin together. I haven't had any problems with it. (I take Risperdal for anxiety/not psychosis, and I take Ritalin for ADD)

Yes, I have taken at one point or another, Adderall with either: Risperdal, Gabitril, or Zyprexa. (Not all at once. Though now that I think about it, I think I did take the Gabitril and Risperdal together for a very brief period by accident. I heard the pdoc say to start the Gabitril but I guess I forgot the part about stopping the Risperdal. Maybe thats what happens when you're kinda psychotic.) I took it with the Zyprexa for a while and never had any problems, and with the Gabitril for a while and never had any problems. At least no problems from any possible interaction between the two. Hope that was kind of helpful.
