It's certainly not silly. Just because anti-psychotics have antagonistic effects at D2 receptors and stimulants are thought to work through stimulating D, does not mean that they are simple opposites in terms of action.

Definitely, its been found that people who are prone to psychosis are statistically worsened by stimulants. So -- if you've never been psychotic -- who knows what it would do? Only one way to find out.

I'd say try a short acting one like Ritalin in a baby size dose, in case it has some unexpected result like increased anxiety. Short acting is always better to begin with.
