I am interested in anyone taking effexor and wellbutrin combo. Positive comments appreciated.
Also, how long does wellbutrin take to kick in?
Today is my third day of adding wellbutrin to my effexor. Thanks in advance. I appreciate this site
so much!

Wellbutrin takes the same 4-6 weeks to work as does every antidepressant. The Wellbutrin may counter-act the drowsiness of Effexor (if you're not on the XR version then switch to it soon: all at bedtime). If you get up to 150-200 mg of Effexor, then the dose-related raise in norepinephrine levels will occur. The combo Effexor + Wellbutrin means that serotonin is raised once, and norepinephrine is raised twice.
