You’re perhaps really the only one
Who I ever felt close to
You made me feel special
You made me feel smart
I miss the honesty in your eyes
I miss your genuine smile
If I could back in time
I wouldn’t be afraid to say it
The silent sadness of fear
Will hang onto me forever

Sweet regretfulness that lingers forever.
I like it. Its sharp and to the point.

Hi Ronoldo,
Thanks for reading and liking it. I'm going through a major period of had I said, had I done, would my life be better, etc. and this poem was the result of one of my I should have saids.
