Spring in the United States

Posted by sunny10 on March 30, 2006, at 8:54:05

The temperatures are rising,
The daffodils are opening,
The crocuses are emerging,
My heart is rejoicing.

Mine too. The birds are singing. Perennials are starting to emerge. The air is soft.

I used to hate Spring. The rapid changes in weather always felt like a big tease. Coming to appreciate the earth and its renewal have changed my attitude.

Still love Fall, though. I don't think I could ever move where there are no seasons.

Thanks for posting this.

Hey Sunny,

It's so nice to see you. The last two mornings have been single digit (celsius) here and turned into the most beautiful autumn days.

Glad the thaw has begun for you.

Take very good care of you okay.

I think I'm half bear, too...
I think staying on the couch and gaining twenty-five pounds this past winter puts me into bear category...

to the boards.

I like to share my good moods more than my bad ones.

I am very happy to be moving to Texas in a couple of months.

Just about summer all year 'round in Corpus Christi !!!

Yay !

:-)

it is getting much colder here.
the good thing is that... it hardly ever rains.
i'm used to things being a fair bit warmer but that is because the cloud cover holds the heat in and it rains all the time.
i prefer lower humidity and absence of mist / fog and absence of rain
but i prefer things being slightly warmer...
guess i can't win.
sigh.

but i'm glad for spring for you guys
even if it means you will all be out having fun in the sun and i'll be babbling all by my lonesome
