Stick a needle in your arm
slowly squeeze away the harm
always thought you knew
what you were getting into

now who's fooling who
when the fire is lit
it's catching up with you
and it just won't let you quit

slip it in your vein
and you won't feel no pain
it's alright, you've got control
but you can't see the toll

contaminate your blood of life
it's just a needle, but it's a knife
sweet sweet poison, it's hard to resist
but your shopping for a tombstone, so put in on your list

shopping for a tombstone
trying to find a good buy
but I know what's going on
cause I'm watching you die

During two of my worst periods depressions in my life I found myself 'shopping for a tombstone' by shooting crystal meth. Today I watch sadly as a friend does the same thing, even though I have tried everything to get them to try any other coping method but that. Without a doubt, this is quite a good piece, thanks.

Coming from a reclusive dreamer such as you----that's my best compliment yet.:) No--I don't sing--except to my kids while driving down the road. Thanks dearest one.
