MIND TELLING BODY TO SHUT DOWN (?)

Posted by Fivefires on August 12, 2008, at 15:04:43

Those of you who know me, know I am not psychotic.

I am hypothesizing here.

It's truly as if the subject line is what is happening to me.

Let me pleez here from anyone who has any thoughts on this.

I can only say my heart feels broken and lonely, and I lie in bed like a starving old, very old person.

My IRL support is gone. They've said 'I must help myself'. Stay at hospital blundered by pdoc who attacked my anxiety medication and made worse.

Do you think there is any hope? I'm crying because I must leave the house to go to the pdoc. I've scared s*itless. My hair looks like a witches ... long and tangled and dirty. I've lost nearly 20lbs.

Friends ... please, do you think this is possible?

all ways, 5f

Oh wow. What a question. The short answer: yes. But there can be so many things wrong with us, and it can be impossible to tell them apart. Sometimes you can't help yourself. When I get angry enough I can often help myself better. Something comes up in me which says: I will not be treated like this, I will not end up like this.

I am so sorry 5f....:-( . Right now, I am sorta in the same boat. Nothing is working. If there is anything, anything you can do to "hold the fort down" until the storm passes. And yes, I HATE ugly, bad, cruel weather too. I also hate how my mind seems to have taken over my body, and seems to want to shut it all down. I'll send a prayer for you, and just please stay safe, find some shelter, try not to listen to the "messages" in the mind too much. They are "tapes" written from the past being played over and over but don't belong there. Time to reprogram, put in some new "messages". (Do I sound like a real nut&@*(!, or like Shirley McLaine?...lol..) Hold on dear....hold on tight....

Here is a little something for you to help:

Five Fires don't worry how you look this way the pdoc will see how bad you feel. What did they do to your anxiety meds in the hospital. How long was the stay. Why must you help yourself? Do they mean being alone? But don't think your body will shut down physically. Make sure you drink and eat properly. Love Phillipa

Hi 5F,

I'm sending cyberslaps to everyone who said you need to help yourself. Also a hard one to that pdoc who messed with your anxiety meds.

To me the fact that you are going to drag yourself out of the house to the pdoc says there is still some strength within you to draw on. If you're like me 99 percent of my brain is telling me I'm hopeless, but it's the one percent that disagrees pushes me to therapy and pdoc. And no I'm not psychotic.

This is the thing Phillipa; it is very physical. I am weak, like to lie down a lot, cannot handle a lot of commotion, even having a little bit of 'almost falling' and have a few bruises.

I want to make another comment before my daughter arrives to go grocery shoppin' w/ me.

>Make sure you drink and eat properly.>

You can try, but it's like the importance of this is hard to hold onto, and the thoughts of eating the food, good food such as vegies and fruit, almost make you feel ill. It's strange. But, I'm back at the weight I was for 20yrs of my life and am comfortable.

Love Phillipa>

Tks Jay for the music; love it!

Tks for gettin' the meanies for me Poet!

I have good news I think.

I think that knowing this is the issue (I've thought about it a lot.) is giving me hope. Weather can change. The world can go on w/o me for a year or so. There's hope. Ya' know? Identifying the problem is the first step to correcting it.

I saw a biography on Eric Clapton. It was when he was in love w/ George Harrison's wife but didn't have her yet. He reclused for two years. He called it his Rite of Passage.

This is mine I guess. Or, maybe you can have more than one. For now, I'd like to think this is the worst one I'll ever have.

I can't thank you all enough for the support; got goosebumps!

Hey all. Things the same here.

I was reading

http://www.2ndbattalion94thartillery.com/Chas/VACAttachment1.htm

about Epstein-Barr and CFS, and nervous system damage.

I've been 'falling down' a lot, tripping, or reaching just short of whatever and stumbing, and dropping things; covered in bruises. As well, still in bed all day.

I've been iron poor for years. I take B-12 shots every 3wks.

It never occurred to me it could be a real medical condition such as EB or CFS. I know my WBC count is usually a bit low as well.

Anyway, something I thought of and was going to post. I am 'falling down' all the time. I'm covered in bruises; arms, legs, feet. Anyway, down on the page above it mentions this!

Tomorrow PCP appt.

I'm sad because in my search, I found Spriggy had one of these diseases.

What should I do anyone?????

Five Fires a low white blood count below normal is indicative of blood disorders I think. I'd google that. Love Jan

I've got the lab order right here Phillipa; now just to get out of the house. Haven't been able to drive as last time scratched my car up pretty good. I've got a referral to hematologist and another neurologist for shaking and falling.

My gosh it's so hard for me to stay online long.

I don't know if it's because I'm so tired or nervous.

It seems impossible to be tired and nervous at the same time, but that's how I feel.

Running for my throw to recharge.
