OK, I'm kind of doubting myself now. If dukeme was right about Dr. Bob being on fan's facebook account, maybe he/she is right about the secret emails?
I just watched this movie, called Mr. Books, where this normal philanthropist businessman with a wife and daughter has a secret life as a serial killer.
Dr. Bob or Your#1Fan, please clear this up for us.

I have a facebook account that I've visited twice. A friend from "another" website begged me to join.
I am going to mosey on over now because I just got an invitation from one of her friends, to be her friend.......Facebook CAN drive you nuts, I did figure that out immediately upon my arrival..Then I departed. :-)

I have nothing against Facebook, Phillipa. It's too friend oriented......You have to sign up with this one and this one and this one and there are little messages and games and it made me tired.
Most people that I know that have the accounts are happy with Facebook.

i have a myspace account. ok, my son has one, that was created with the intentions of sending pictures back and forth, until i took it over. besides, what 2 year old needs a myspace account anyway?
anyway, i was heavily addicted for quite some time. i'd stya up all hours fo the night, looking at pictures, reading silly bulletins, finding people i hadn't seen in years. but never once have i posted a bomb threat. please don't give me ideas :)
but, this facebook thing has addresses, you say? hmmm.. somethign to think about!

When I read this last night, I didn't even realize it was talking about Fan (or notice it had his personal info). I just scanned over all the ALL CAPS, misspellings, and cussing and it was just too much to process right then (I hate to admit I was a bit intoxicated by that time). Otherwise I probably would have put a more helpful response. Sorry I flaked out instead of letting someone know about it.

Well guess what my husband and I just did a search and both of us are also on xxx's friends list. As well as another old poster who is the one I initially signed up to be her friend and didn't go back . Now how does someone have something like 150 friends obtain my husband's pic and my name. And the poster xxxxxxxxxxxxx and is also listed as one of his friends. How is this possible. As I just don't understand. Phillipa

First off, you probably shouldn't use a poster's real name here. I'm sure it was a mistake, but I figured I should say something.
So was the pic of your husband one you've given out to anyone? Anyone can copy a picture easily enough. I really don't think its anything to worry about. No one has access to any of your info unless you voluntarily gave it out. Facebook is like Myspace, its just a place for people to set up their own web page and interact with each other. If you set up an account with them, then you created your own page. This will only show whatever info you chose to include.
Once you set up a page, then someone can ask to add you as their friend. Each person's page has a list of 'friends'. This is just people who have allowed you to add them to your list. It really doesn't mean anything. They don't have any special access to your information or anything like that. I hope this helps explain things a bit. If not, feel free to babblemail me and I'll explain as best I can.

Well he my husband said he did post a pic of himself sorry for posting the name but I had thought that was already posted. I just get so upset when things like this happen. But I and Greg didn't respond to a friend request from that person unnamed as now could someone xxxx it out? I don't want to get in trouble should I hit notify admin button? I just can't imagine our admin being there too. I hope I haven't messed up again if so I'm dreadfully sorry and forgiveness asked. I don't think you should worry. And you might notify admin that you accidentally used someone's name. I know it was used in the post before, but then they xxx'd it out to try to take care of that. I bet they'll x yours out too if you point it out to them. I'm sure Fan will understand it was an accident too.
