the one I applied for at the pre-school, but have already gotten two more applications in today...one for a medical supply store and one for a casino tour host. Times are tough in N. Michigan. Tomorrow is my BIG DAY! I meet with a divorce attorney for the first time! I'm soooooo nervous. Should I take a Xanax before I go? Yikes!

good luck, colleen! you'll do great! just relax..there's nothing to be nervous about! everything will be fine. and the xanax is there if you need it. this divorce attorney is just a human being, and is on your side. no worries!!!

Good luck Colleen. Amy is right, the divorce attorney is a human being and will be on your side! I don't blame you for feeling nervous though. It is a very courageous move that you have taken and one that required a lot of strength. You are very brave. Borrow a bit more strength from the Xanax. Nothing wrong with that. Am thinking of you. Please let us know how it went.

I get confused with time differences, but this message could be before or after your first meeting with the lawyer. The others have already said the true and encouraging things. Such a big brave. And most people would find it a stressful thing to do.
Fingers crossed for you.
I'm so sorry you have given up on the dream job. You can still hang on to the idea of having a shot at a similar post sometime in the future- its not definitely a line of work you will *never* get into. But of course its also important not to dwell on it too much and make yourself miserable.
Lots of luck with the applications. That is also an impressive thing to be managing- I know it takes a fair amount of time and energy.
