. . . guess you've probably already heard any advice I might be able to give, huh?

So, what is going to happen . . . are you for sure going to lose your house?

I was forced to sell a house once - years ago when my kids were small. It turned out to be a good thing for me - got me out of the town I was living in (bad influences).

Gosh, that was a lifetime ago. My kids have kids now!

I prefer being single, too [now]. But this is the first time in my life I have ever lived alone; I always had the kids when I was single before. My husband left me last summer after 17yrs together - no warning, just a note on my chair when I came home from work. That is why the severe depression now, tho I have suffered from chronic depression most of my life.

We had a really nice day today; sunny and warm. I slept until noon, but still got a lot of work done in the yard and did some cleaning in my garage. [I refinanced the house and bought my husband's interest in it when we divorced]

I have a little pond in the back yard that I built myself, and I cleaned out the pump today so now the waterfall is running a lot faster. I also got my auto sprinkler system turned back on - that is a chore I hate, cuz I have to reach way down in a hole to turn the handle and it's really hard to turn. But I did it - 'cuz "I AM WOMAN!" . . . I'm going to make the hole bigger this summer.

I like working in the yard and around the house, remodeling and stuff. I am not ready to start dating again yet, so I just keep myself busy with things like that.

Sometimes it gets to me, though, like . . . who the @#?! cares if anything gets done?? It has been almost impossible for me to invite anyone to my home since my husband left - so I wonder who I am doing all this work for?? That's only on bad days, though, and the bad days don't come as close together as they used to.

Geez . . . you really got me started. It must be getting pretty late for you, huh? It's only 10:30 pm here. Don't forget Daylight Savings tonight:)

((((yawn))))

How long have you been treating for anxiety? Are you seeing improvement? (questions, questions)

If you read this tonight, you don't have to answer tonight - I know you need to go to bed:~)

I'm kind of in the same place as you are, regarding work not husband. I don't like it. OK, I hate it. But I doubt my ability to find another job that fits my special emotional needs (how's that for saying one where my instability won't get me fired) and that will pay enough to go to therapy.

But every once in a while a still small voice asks if it isn't true that the majority of my anxiety is *caused* by my job, and if I found one that wasn't so stressful I wouldn't melt down so often or (heaven forbid) need as much therapy.

Could the same thing be true with your husband? That you wouldn't be so anxious and would be more able to work if you were away from a bad situation?

Of course, having that insight hasn't caused me to quit my job, and in fact I'm heading off there now. :(

hey all i am increasing tomorrow..pretty nervous and i have to work at night so i hope it all goes ok. my moods have been out of whack the last couple of days im not sure why. I applied for school and i am still waiting to see if i got in, i really hope i do! It would make me feel better about myself, getting somewhere i want to be.
Mysic i know what you mean about Sunday nights theres this undeniable feeling of 'doom' that settles in once the sun goes down and sometimes its very hard to shake.

I think excersice will help so i plan on bringing my rollerblades out of the closet and learning how to use them (properly) once and for all!! lol.

Jlynne i hope you are feeling alright, i went to Walmart yet couldnt find those sheets:( Maybe Canadian Wal-Marts dont carry them. I guess i should have asked but there was WAY too many people in there so i had to mainly focus on not walking in to things and not freaking out and running out, lol...no im serious, that store is way to insane for someone who gets panic attacks in crowds.

anyway hope you all have a goodnite i am going to settle in to comfy PJ's and read my book until i get sleepy and pass out.

wish me luck on my increase and i will let you guys know how my first day went.

Goodnite and sweetdreams to all.

Mag

Hi, Mystic - it's been kind of quiet here all weekend, eh?

I was really looking forward to this weekend; had all kinds of plans to get things done around the house, but man! I have just been so dragged out! I got some things done in the yard yesterday, but all I did today was a little grocery shopping and whole lot of just lying around. I just can't seem to wake up all the way. No tears, though - and that is good.

Hang in there, sweetie - the waiting is almost over, and we are all right here for you. Hope you have a good day at work:~)

Magdalena, the sheets were in a very small section of the sheets dept, and the last time I bought some, they came in their own little draw-string jersey storage bag. They were hard to spot, so it probably would be a good idea to ask a clerk for assistance. [and, btw, I get paranoid in big stores, too - I am almost running by the time I get out; sometimes in tears by the time I reach my car]

I am glad to hear that you are applying for school. Is it a local school, or will you have to commute, or live on-campus? Hope you hear soon. That is a big step.

It's weird, but it seems like everyone on this board has been having a really hard time the last few days. Maybe for you, it is a sign that it really is time to increase. I'm not doing too bad - just extremely tired. I hope that is just a passing thing.

Good luck on your increase. Drink lots of water and remember to breathe. I will be holding your hand:~)
