Ok, so I have tried to figure this out on my own but to no avail, so can someone please help me out....
I am taking
Cymbalta (60 mg in AM)
Adderall XR (15 mg in AM)
Librium (5 mg twice a day AM and PM)
and Xyzal (which is like zyrtec and antihistamine at night)So, am I right in thinking that the neurotransmitters I a hitting include serotonin, some NE, some GABA, and some NA? Did I miss something? This combination is pretty good for my irritability; yet leaves me a bit fatigued and still not real motivated or able to "enjoy" life; although I no longer Hate life.....any suggestions as to what to alter to keep the positive and help alleviate the negative symptoms still present?

Previous post got no responses...trying to figure out why I am so tired and what neurotransmitters I am hitting and what may need tweaking....please help me understand this.....
I am taking a combination of cymbalta, adderall, librium, and zyrtec (xyzal actually). My anxiety, irritability and depression are in check but I am exhausted.....wondering why and what to do to help alleviate the fatigue so I can work and function. Please help if you have ideas......

Cymbalta left me feeling tired and fatigued. Effexor and Savella did not affect me that way.
How does Ritalin treat you?

Been a long time since Ritalin (was back before concerta and Ritalin SR) I had a good response but very bad rebound effect in afternoon so stopped taking it and switched to dexedrine....since then I have been on adderall xr or vyvanse which was ok on pristiq and effexor but not really helping with energy on the cymbalta (although attention is better and focus is somewhat better) Is Ritalin or concerta usually more alerting than adderall? I dont understand the neurotransmitters at all.....so confusing to me.....I would've thought the NE from the cymbalta would assist with alertness.....but man am I tired- napping and sleeping more (without sleep meds) however, frequent awakenings now.....argh

I imagine that there are interindividual differences in the type of effect these stimulants produce. I think there is a tendency for methylphenidate to be "harsher" than amphetamine. Perhaps you will find it more alerting and energizing.

Sometimes, you just gotta admit ignorance and continue with empirical investigations and trial-and-error methodology.

cymbalta is closer to an sri than to an nri
you could take less, switch to milnacipran, switch to an sri + an nri
