I'm pretty sure it was the fish oil.
I'd previously been taking 1600-2000 mg EPA/day (Carlson's brand--I don't pay attention to the DHA component) and had to stop for 10 days.
Went back to 1600 for a few days and yesterday went up to 2400 mg EPA and OMG...Hardly slept and tremendous anxiety today. I mean just awful. I can't say 100% it was the fish oil but I think it probably was.
I'm gonna stop taking it completely for a few days and then taper up to about a gram EPA/day and no more.
Any thoughts, advice or similar experiences? Peace...Saturn

yeah, i've had sleep problems on fish oil. i'm a chronic low doser now. enzymatic therapy sells small fish oil pills in their "eskimo" product.
fish oil increases norepinephrine, a stimulating neurotransmitter.

Ditto, I had sleep problems on fish oil too. Although not too bad or anything, but noticeable.
But I have to say I slept well when trying reboxetine (a noradrenline reuptake inhibitor) but then, I guess things are so much more complicated than that..........

Fish oil made me Way more anxious!
Which was very annoying, I guess low dosing is key!
