Supplementation for bone structure and teeth

Posted by Lamdage22 on November 12, 2014, at 13:10:03

I am planning to take the following for my health:

Calcium 500mg
Magnesium 250mg
Zinc 10mg every 4 days
Vitamin K2 100mcg
Vitamin D 0,025 mg

Just ordered them. Occasion is that my tooth enamel has a crack and i have demineralization. The dosages are low but i plan to do this for the rest of my life. Some time i will go to the doctors office and have my levels checked.

I'd like to wish you luck with your supplements, Lamdage22. I'm really starting to doubt whether vitamin D3 is helping my mental health in any meaningful way anymore, but I will likely continue to take the vitamin/hormone for any possible general health benefits that it might provide. Are you taking vitamin D2 or vitamin D3?

Hi Tomatheus,

i am using D3. Another thing i will do is i will go to the blood test without eating anything and i will go for a consecutive Calcium test after drinking ¼ Gallon of milk. I hear that milk actually takes away calcium from your body and i want to be able to actually tell them that it is bs.

This "spiritual" movement where people think they know everything annoys me. No one thinks its necessary to prove their allegations.

I want proof in this, even if it costs me 15 bucks.

It annoys me you know?

D3 is recommended even by the most vitamin supplement critical experts, so i think you are doing a good thing with your Vitamin D intake!

I hope so. From what I've gathered, most experts seem to think that vitamin D3 is likely superior to vitamin D2, and I think that there's even some evidence to suggest that vitamin D2 may be harmful. So, I think it's encouraging that you're taking vitamin D3 as part of your supplement regimen, and I wish you the best with it.
