Hi all
After taking Valdoxan 37,5 mg for more than 2 years now (in combination with Nortriptyline + a small dose Mirtazapin) I am very doubtfull that this drug is actually working. Even my pdoc says it is a "weak" drug. I am considering to exchange Valdoxan with Sertralin based on various posts here.
What do you think?

Unfortunately it's immediate predecessor Stablon (tianeptine) has the same reputation. A novel mechanism of action, promising initial studies, but only partial response and slight improvements for most people.

I did not like the way it made me feel.

I loved it in low doses (around 12.5mg) at the beginning. The next day was pretty calm. The 5ht2c antagonism?
Thereafter my sleep gradually deteriorated and I lost the benefit. It still did something during the day.
It is somewhat toxic.
This is the end of the thread.
