Unfortunately it's immediate predecessor Stablon (tianeptine) has the same reputation. A novel mechanism of action, promising initial studies, but only partial response and slight improvements for most people.
C-PTSD: social phobia, major depression, dissociation. 20 yrs duration.
Asperger's Syndrome.
Currently: 150mg amitriptyline single dose at night. 75mg Lyrica occasionally.
Significantly improving.
