Since I complain about lithium hair loss and increased depression on it, doc wanted me to try something this week.
20mg Geodon at night with 1mg of Klonopin. I sleep great. Then, in morning 5mg Adderall XR along and 20mg Geodon.
I've tried both ways (taking the Adderall and not taking the Adderall). When I take the Adderall with Geodon I get super over-focused to the point of running around doing stuff like the energizer bunny.
When I don't take the Adderall Geodon combo I feel tired.
It's not that much Adderall folks, so what's up?
I also think the daytime 20mg of Geodon makes me tired (not hypomanic though!).

I stopped my hair loss, was lossing scary amonts of hair many months on NAC selenium, multi with zinc and some others but i think the ones mentioned are what stopped my hair loss

what about Ritalin LA instead of adderall?
the regular ritalin had quite a crash for me but the LA didn't seem to do that as much and seemed MUCH softer than adderall.
(however adderall is just what i needed).but thats why a switch in stimulants for you might just work??

Doc won't switch me to Ritalin. Say it's pretty much the same as Adderall. Even said Adderall was probably more mild.
I have tried Nuvigil and I like it pretty well. My insurance costs me a lot for both Provigil and Nuvigil. Only downside to Nuvigil is I get a headache later in the day. Probably similar to how some people get irritable or headachy after Adderall or Ritalin.
Right now I think either Provigil/Nuvigil or Adderall could induce hypomania. In the old days when I used to only take 100mg of Zoloft I could get hypomanic from too much coffee.
I think it's just stimulants.
As far as Geodon goes, maybe I'm just not on a high enough dose. Maybe I need to dose up to 100mg or 120mg. I hear that 120mg is the sweet spot for a lot of people and it shouldn't induce hypomania at a high dose.

if you even THINK it may help and doc says ok. then please do it. just monitor youself/body closely.
