low dose zoloft

Has anyone had any success even if limited with low dose Zoloft somewhere between 12.5-25mg?

I'm wondering if it would work well with abilify and perhaps better than 2.5mg prozac.

BTW abilify helps eliminate headaches that SSRIs give me, I guess because of the 5HT2A antagonism?

Only when combined with 25mg imipramine and 25mg amitriptyline.

interesting combo sounds side effect-y. I guess the only way to find out is to try right?

Very low dose for sure? Seems lower doses are being used more. Any idea why? Phillipa

I just got bumped up to 2.5 and am coming off mirtazapine, since it only worked for a couple days at 30mgs and increasing the dose to 45 mgs did nothing.

I think the addition of Zoloft without a TCA could make a difference.

Why stick with a low dose? I mean if it works definitely stick with it, but if it doesn't, you may do very good on 100 mg Zoloft without any bothersome side effects.

OOps, I think I know what BrainBeard meant now. I think he was saying that a low dose of Zoloft may not have an impact unless you add a TCA like Nortriptyline. I think?!

I didn't do well on regular doses of prozac or lexapro, my brain seems to be sensitive to increases in serotonin. 5 HTP also made me spacey. Low dose prozac gives me some focus and drive however. Just thought low dose zoloft might be better.
