Took 50mg zyprexa just to function again.
Not realy sure what is going on here. Does z lose effectiveness.

Thats a lot of zyprexa!
It can loose its effectiveness for some people.
Are you taking it for a psychotic disorder, or something like anxiety?

Whats going on Phillipa, good question? Bad batch of pills? Pills losing effectivness? Different formulation? Weak pills? Not realy sure, but do know some things. Some of the bottles are older than others, and the newer ones seem to work better. None of the bottles are past expire date. So, self destructiong pills?

Sometimes augmentations can help.
For instance, fluvoxamine (an SSRI), can help PTSD, and some studies suggest it can lower the necessary dose of a neuroleptic.
Vitamin C can augment antipsychotics according to some studies.
Not sure what to say. I assume you've tried other APs?
