A little thought in french for AmeSansVie ...Tu te considerait comme étant une ame sans vie, sans vie car plongé dans la tourmente dans ce corp malade, dans ce cerveau malade; maintenant que ton ame est libéré de ce corp, puisse ton ame être plus vivante que jamais!

Dear Jan,Is there some way you can express my gratitude to all of these people who appreciated and respected my son? I am thankful for all of the positive thoughts sent to me and Katie, Michael's sister. I am so happy that so many people recognized Michael for the special and brilliant young man he was.
Would you please try to convey this to them and assure them that my son's death was an accident? Please let them know that he meant what he had been posting and he was much better. Michael had the time of his life in September at the Austin City Limits Music Festival and posted this on My Space in his journal. I had about 6 months of my old Michael back before he left me. We had been talking in the mornings before I left for work and were going out together, shopping, dinner. In some ways, it feels more tragic to me due to this. I feel he was cheated just as he was learning to enjoy life again.
The comments people posted made me cry and cry but I know that crying is healing and it's OK.
Yes, I slept last night, with .5 mg Xanax. I do not want to get where I think I need that stuff. Wouldn't that be ironic after the years I was on Michael about it?

I read Ame Sans Vie's MySpace page. It's so sad. He had such a promising future. He wanted to practice medicine one day.

I didn't really know Ames Sans Vie. With such varied interests such as music, linguistics and pharmacology, he must have been a very interesting person. I wish he didn't die. I'm sad.

I was very saddened to here of the death of one of us psycho babblers. Obviously I communicated with him myself and he seemed a very forthright, helpful and caring individual.
I myself (via my band) am on myspace and so much wished I would have contacted him before this happened.

Thank you for conveying this information Phillipa. I just recieved news of this incident via my email. I personally communicated with him on here, and, of course, it is a sad loss.
The circumstances of his death were conveyed to me via the aformentioned email. These circumstances trouble me greatly. I will not elucidate on this until the circumstance are released here, if they ever are.I give my condolonces to his mother and all who knew him.
He seemed a very affable young man -- I regret at the time he was posting I was not on here, as I would definately built a 'my-space' friendship with him.By virtue of his very existance in this world, he is immortal.

Condolences to Michael's Family & Friends.
I never knew him & didn't know he was so young, however, it appears that he likes a lot of the same music that I do, especially Primus. It has to be an accident, there's no way anyone would miss going to a Primus concert.

I just made the link between Ame Sans Vie on Psychobabble and LordAadika over on RemedyFind. I'm sure that is Michael's profile. I corresponded with him a few times over the years and he gave me excellent advice. His knowledge on all things psychopharmacological was formidable. He was a bit of a ledged over on RemedyFind and an inspiration to me and many others I have known through the net to keep fighting our own personal battles.
I hope his family get some comfort from knowing Michael's spirit will continue to move many of us to help eachother in our pursuit of mental wellness.
