Hi J

Is there any possibility that your doc might let you try clozapine without admitting you to hospital?

Can you be more specific as to what you are experiencing? It might be more helpful if you were to provide factual descriptions rather than to ascribe medical labels, which can confer misdiagnosis.

Is there any history of Tourettes, OCD, or ADHD in your family?

no, but my nephews have also social withdrawal problems but not as bad as mine, i used to be a social guy, hanging out with friends on a weekend at bowling, play some snooker, drink a few beers (no abuse) somethimes :), smoke marlboros, go on vacation and at nights having fun with my best friends on beach tell storys while having a smoke (not much and NO DRUGS i ever used). my misery started on 14 years old and now im 22 and the tardive dyskinesia affected my social life on 21 by geodon JUST WHEN MY LIFE WAS ABOUT TO CHANGE INTO SOMETHING SPECIAL, A ROMANTIC RELATIONSHIP WITH A GIRLFRIEND. worst happy birthday ever, i dont like exposing myself but sadly as it is, im just so sad.... starting at 14 years old i got problems into school because of this disorder, it went even that bad that people insult me, because i didnt feel good anymore against my will, i desperate cryed in myself for help but i didnt know who to ask for, so i went to psychiatrist and he prescribed me RISPERIDONE (RIsperdal) i was a zombie, total screwed, im affraid of dying and missing all the good things like havinga social life again like in the ages. boy i sound stupid!

maybe i have ADHD, schizophrenia, but the people i deal with at the hospital OVERDRUG PEOPLE. i dont know... i dont hallucinate and hear voices. im at this moment happy with any day i get and i can see the sun shining and hugging my cat :)

i think of other children who also have a hard time out there, i found a page with nightmare storys about geodon in a hospital about a nurse who is really bad that people get high EPS from it. not only in eyes but tongue and stuff. and doctors who dont prescribe meds on time to prevent.

well i do have a broken heart for a year now. and i really miss her a bit. i think shes happy, good

Clonidine is a drug used sometimes to treat both tardive dyskinesia and tic disorders. It is known to act as an agonist at NE alpha-2 receptors. Strattera is used for ADHD and can also help ameliorate tics. It is a NE reuptake inhibitor.

Hi Jeroen

>i dont call TD improvement in my or anyones health like any other disease

I was talking about the recent improvement in your depression and anxiety.

>i will get fazaclo or clozapine witouth blood monitoring, sounds very dangerous aint it?

Yes, it is. I don't think you will be able to obtain clozapine on the internet. Anything you buy which 'claims' to be clozapine is probably a fake. Clozapine is very tightly controlled compared with most drugs. Most pharmacies cannot dispense clozapine, only licensed pharmacies are permitted to supply it.

The dose of clozapine may need to be decreased when it is taken in combination with Seroxat.

>what other risks are there?

Potential side effects of clozapine....

1. Agranulocytosis - the most well known risk of clozapine. Fever may be a symptom, but clozapine can also induce a fever in the absense of agranulocytosis.

2. Seizures - common at high doses

3. Dizziness and fainting, low blood pressure

4. Certain types of heart disease - rare

5. Weight gain, obesity - common

6. Drowsiness, sedation - can be severe

7. Rapid/increased heart rate - common

8. Nausea/vomiting

9. Constipation - common. Bowel obstruction occurs occasionally.

10. Increased dreaming, unusual dreams, nightmares

11. Headache

12. Tremor

13. Excessive salivation, drooling during sleep 'wet pillow'. This is a very common side effect. Dry mouth may also more rarely.

14. Urinary incontinence

15. Sweating

16. Visual disturbances

17. Restlessness, agitation, confusion

18. Disturbance of sexual function, specifically ejaculation

19. Disturbance of liver function, hepatitis

20. Rash

21. Nasal congestion

22. Neuroleptic malignant syndrome - rare

23. Hyperglycemia and Diabetes Mellitus

24. Increased risk of DVT (deep vein thrombosis) and pulmonary embolism.

hi, i just spoke today with my doctor about the TD and cogentin, he said its same class as AKINETON and might make things worse. whats your opinion.

he also admitted Clozapine can treat and even reverse TD after 2 to 6 months but it has lot of risks as side effects, people died on this drug. he said people on where i stayed 8 months many are taking it because not respond to other drugs

he said its an option for me... but i need to get hospitalized again for this... and i dont want to go at this time there. i am much improved as you said, the magnesium and herb are making things somethimes better

i think (hope) Clozaril will cure my eyes. what should i do... im doing not bad on seroquel it is helping and i have a life, but i dont go out anymore and stuff, so i do want to risk it but when? i can get a legal prescription for Fazaclo or Clozapine witouth going to hospital, but its too dangerous so i dont wanna do that....

SHOULD I TRY IT WITHIN A FEW MONTHS GET HOSPITALIZED AGAIN FOR THIS TREATMENT? LOT CAN GO WRONG... OR MAYBE THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE IT GET FIXED..... i dont know

please bob dont delete my post, not doing anything illegal. thanks

Hi J

>hi, i just spoke today with my doctor about the TD and cogentin, he said its same class as AKINETON and might make things worse. whats your opinion.

That's right, it is in the same class as Akineton. Are Cogentin tablets available in Belgium? Perhaps they're not, which could be why your doctor hadn't heard of Cogentin.

>SHOULD I TRY IT WITHIN A FEW MONTHS GET HOSPITALIZED AGAIN FOR THIS TREATMENT? LOT CAN GO WRONG... OR MAYBE THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE IT GET FIXED..... i dont know

I wouldn't try it yet J, too many side effects. It might be an option for the future though. What do you think about my Botox idea?

ALL MY PSY DOCS SAY NO BECAUSE....

ALL MY PSY DOCS SAY NO BECAUSE....

i have nystagmus (uncontrolled eye movement) and blepharospasm (only botox used for that not nystagmus)

it has improved by 35%+ id say 40%+ i think, also im ok with seroquel at this moment 100 AM and 200 PM, seroxat 30 mg, uni tranxene 15 mg (twice day), im stable, im following music lessons each week.

i have ordered lecithin i will take that also twice a day. im ok at this moment, im living a life. not like before but its better... my doctor said yesterday i wont add cogentin it might make things worse... but he did agreed with Clozaril, but its a hard drug... my psy doc said Seroquel has same system like Clozaril.

should i low dosage abilify to my medicine cocktail like 5 mg or 2.5mg? maybe it will reverse the nystagmus..... BECAUSE on parts on brain where too much dopamine it will make it ok again. DYSTONIA is caused by dopamine blockage in the basial ganglia i think. i cant take more then 10 mg or i will get ugly side effects.

i dont know ed, what do you think of the abilify 2.5 or 5 mg? i did had lot of excessive blinking, but no uncontrolled eye movements with abilify sounds scary all

Hi Jeroen

>i have nystagmus (uncontrolled eye movement) and blepharospasm (only botox used for that not nystagmus)

That's right, the Botox wouldn't help the uncontrolled eye movements, only the blepharospasm.

>im following music lessons each week

Me too. I've just started playing the oboe again. I used to play but I gave up.

>i dont know ed, what do you think of the abilify 2.5 or 5 mg? i did had lot of excessive blinking, but no uncontrolled eye movements with abilify sounds scary all

I'm concerned about the excessive blinking you had on Abilify. What dose did you take previously?

Take care
