I'm on Zonegran, Cymbalta 60mgs, Abilify 10mgs and Xanax as needed. (I'm bipolar 2)
What is making me want to eat and eat sweets, lots of sweets? It's like I can't get enough !
I've been on the Zonegran for over a year and just started the Cymbalta and Abilify as of the 13th of this month.
Should I go back on Wellbutrin ? I was on that for a year and never had any side effect of effecting my weight, but do you think it would help now?
I've put on 5lbs in the last two weeks because I'll I want to do is eat sweets all day and sleep !!! This has to stop and stop now !!!
Any ideas of what I should do ?

I have the same problem only it's just chocolate. I don't want to talk about the reason, it sounds too bizarre, but it's true. I lost my ability to taste back in April. I even went to a "Taste and Smell Disorder" Clinic in a very big hospital. There are only 3 in the USA. They said I had a virus and I would never taste again. I eat chocolate at night hoping I will taste it again since this was the last taste to go. Tried prednisone as Rx'd and nothing worked. Phillipa

Just a suggestion...but, get your adrenals checked. It's sounds like they're wasted...out of kilter.
