I have the same problem only it's just chocolate. I don't want to talk about the reason, it sounds too bizarre, but it's true. I lost my ability to taste back in April. I even went to a "Taste and Smell Disorder" Clinic in a very big hospital. There are only 3 in the USA. They said I had a virus and I would never taste again. I eat chocolate at night hoping I will taste it again since this was the last taste to go. Tried prednisone as Rx'd and nothing worked. Phillipa
