I tried it but experienced significant dizziness approximately 40 minutes after taking it. I staying with it for 2 weeks but it did not improve, so I stopped.

I was taking 15 mg. BuSpar along with 40 mg. of Celexa for about 6 months. I did not have 1 panic attack. I was a bit drowsy and needed more sleep, but if I wasn't also on the Celexa I know that woudn't have been a problem. A little dizziness is to be expected, but it's not a big deal. It's worth it if you want to feel calmer. It did help a lot with my panic and anxiety. I could even drive down a long dark road at night! I'd say, give it a try if you're not already on it. :)

I think the buspar is what is working for my chronic, global type anxiety. I was still quite anxious on 150mg of zoloft and after adding the buspar 10mg twice daily, I have not been plagued with it. My psychdoc thinks it is what is working for the anxiety. She says that the people who are helped by it all say the same thing, that one day it is just gone. I am staying on it, I would love to just take the buspar and provigil which I think is also helping with the anxiety somehow.
