I did a quick Internet search on Serzone and all I could find was that it is chemically UNrelated to SSRI's, tricyclics and MAOI's. I don't know what it works on, but I bet one of the knowledgeable people on here will answer you.
I would also add that there can be serious liver problems from Serzone and from what I read, it interacts with A LOT of different meds. Sounds like a "use with caution" type med to me.

It's kind of like remeron in that it works on both serotonin and norepinephrine. It has reputake inhibiting properties and also blocks certain receptors like ht-2 and others.
