I probably have to increase and the only thing that scares me about that is how many times do you have to increase before you can't increase anymore. I am so scared of medication but I am also so sick of anxiety and panic that at this stage of the game I am ready to try anything to live a anxiety free life.
Anxious I couldve written this myself...I know that you are on a very low dose..and I also know that with this med there are a lot of ups and downs to it and you really have to do what you feel there are very few people still on 10mgs and some on 15mgs and some on 20mgs so I dont think you go much higher than that but I think that you are the lowest...Remember I am here for you and can relate totally you can e-mail me if you would like..mystichyd38@aol.com...We can help each other but you should thank god that you have found this place because everyone in here are angels true angels...
Xanax well I would feel bad about retaking something that helps you ....You are lucky that you feel comfortable to take them when you know that you need them because anything that can make life better is a plus but sometimes we are soooo stubborn that we refuse to help ourselves or should I say just cant....

Your body has probably just adjusted to the 5mg Lexapro, and it is not as effective as it used to be. You might want to consider trying the 10mg again. Don't worry about continually needing to increase. At some point, you will find the dosage that is optimal for you. I'm sure your doctor would be ok with taking Xanax for a while as needed until you get this straightened out.

Who knows? Just 10mg may be perfect for you. Or you may want to try 7.5 for a while and see if that helps.

I think I will try 7.5 first before jumping to the full 10mg and maybe the effects will be less. Isn't it terrible to have to go through this process with the meds just to feel better.
I wish you could just take it and feel better w/o any side effects.

Hope everyone is doing really well. I am doing pretty well myself. Been at the beach for about the past two week. I am feeling tan and pretty great! It is wonderful to just escape for a little bit. How are all of you doing? Bride, happy birthday...the big day has got to be approaching, how goes the mood swings...where are you going on your honeymoon??
How is everyone doing on their meds, any big drama while I was gone, I had like 300 emails when I got back and as much as I love you all, there is just not enough time in the day to read all those!!!! I have cut down to 10mg of lex and am feeling pretty well. Less irritated then I did when I was on higher doses. Its weird I did feel 1000000 times better on 20 than I did 10 and now I feel better lower. Meds are so weird.
My period should come around the 29th so I am kinda waiting to see about PMS this month. So far so good, Ive got my klodipin in my purse just incase I get all emotional. Well that enough from me...ya'll write me when you can!!

Hey there Lexy,
So great to hear your southern accent again! You have been missed. It's great that you feel so happy and healthy. I am happy for you. I feel pretty darn good myself!! A few of our friends are not doing so well though. Mystic is having a hard time with her increase. She hasn't really felt the effects of upping to 15mgs yet. Hi Mrs. C.,
I am actually feeling pretty good - I am actually having a glass of wine and trying to unwind, I went shopping with my mom and daughter tonight and I am waiting for my husband and son to come home- they had to work about 4 hours away today and traffic is a nightmare so they just called and said they would be home in another hour or so.I have to admit, as much as I miss them it's nice to have some time to yourself. I really enjoyed it! :) They will be gone again tomorrow because they have to finish this job by Sunday so I am looking forward to another free day with my baby. My husband owns his own construction business.
I was inquiring about those Foxglove flowers and my parents have them but my dad said they are poisonous- is that true? I guess I won't get any this year since my daughter is still so little and puts things in her mouth.
So what are you up to tonight? How do you feel?

one day at a time.... tell your self each night when ya go to bed tomorrow is gonna be a wonderful day... positive attitude helps tremendously...yex i am on lex and welbutrin. 20 mg lex 150 mg of wel...pray level with GOD and tell him ya need his help... my down fall was i thought i could do everything with out anyones help.. and in actualality we can't do a thing with out the LORD our GOD. so in order to receive we must ask.. knock and the doors will be opened for you!!!that is how i have made it thru the life i have. we have to reprogram our brains to be happy.. positive! happy! i was once in such a bad way that i finally desided to expeiment with my subconcious mind. i made a tape speaking softly to me saying all positive things... i am happy, life is beautiful, i love me, people good, etc... and i played it as i slept... on one of those tape players that keep flipping them selves over and over all night while i slept. it gave me a positive attitude and you can tell your sub that you are happy and it will reprogram you. if ya don't believe me think back to school days, when people made fun of ya or called ya names, it did something to you deep inside didn't it??? this is a way to reverse all the negative and bad things that have made you feel less.. do you understand?? sometimes i don't explane things real well..

Hi there everyone. I hope that you all are feeling good. I myself am feeling terrible. I feel like I am slipping into darkness. THose are the only words that can really describe how I am feeling. I was doing so well and now I am depressed and kind of confused feeling. I will keep the faith and keep on and hope I dont go crazy. I am so very tired of feeling this way. I am also sorry I dont post alot. I do pray for all of you everyday. You all have been so wonderful . I am just sick of feeling bad.
