Hi, This is my first post and I'm hoping I can get some help with this question.
I've been on the Emsam patch for around 14 weeks total, and at 12mg for the past 6 weeks with no positive results, only some side effects. I'm ready to give up on this one, but am wondering what kind of w/d symptoms I can expect. I scoured the archives, but couldn't find all that much that was helpful. I actually forgot to put a patch on yesterday, so I just continued that today. Without any patch for 2 days, I felt a little light-headedness this morning, but that's been about it. I can always cut the 12mg patch down in size, but I'd rather not if I can avoid it (so I can try something else ASAP). Anyone have experience coming off 12mg Emsam?
Also, any suggestions on what I might try next? I would say I have dysphoria and definitely social anxiety/GAD. I've tried Celexa, Zoloft, Cymbalta, BuSpar, Effexor, and now Emsam. Nothing has helped, with the exception of my first 1-2 weeks on Cymbalta.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
