Tepiaca, in answer to your question, here's why I stoppd taking Abilify:

Several months ago, I faced an almost overwhelmingly large task that for me was as close to "do or die" as one can imagine. It was something that only I could do and could not hire or ask someone else to do it for me. It involved a legal proceeding and in short, if I did not complete certain paperwork within a set period of time (6 weeks) the rest of my life would have been financially ruined.

I had been somewhat fatigued and was having difficulty accomplishing very much. I was not certain if any of my meds were the cause. Because I was taking so many it was difficult to isolate the culprit.

I quit cold-turkey all suspected drugs: Trazadone(I was taking for sleeping), Cymbalta, and Abilify. I remained on Wellbutrin, Dexedrine, and Provigil. I also started taking Kava-kava to help me with sleeping instead of the Trazadone.

That was 3 months ago and I have not started taking them again. Alrthough I believe that I felt better emotionally when I was taking them, at least one of them was causing me to be overly fatigued. On many days, however, I wish that I had not stopped taking them, but on the other hand, I am extremely hesitant to start-up with any of them again.
