I can't say that I can relate to your experiences. Tiredness was not a part of the withdrawal process for me. Perhaps those people for whom Effexor produced anxiety or insomnia early in treatment, tiredness might be more likely to occur upon discontinuation or dosage reduction.
When I discontinue Parnate, a stimulating MAOI, I invariably experience a profound tiredness and fatigue that lasts for 1-2 weeks.
