That would imply maintaining a specific "high", wouldn't it???
Or could you be asking if someone is an alcoholic if they binge drink sometimes and can take it or leave it at other times?
(Good questions, by the way... though I'm just as interested in hearing some answers! I know that I don't know... I'm pretty naive about substance use)
