How awful.
Though I have to admit if I'd seen more of folks like him I mighta quit sooner. But, noooooo, I had to be the quiet stay at home, perfectly functional elsewhere kind of drunk.
I'm betting it's the ghost of the past, sent there just for you as a reminder why you're putting yourself through this torture.
Think of when you're tempted. Too bad we can't record it in smell-a-rama.
