Hey Angela,

After reading your last post it made me realise I know what I want to do (or roughly know) it's just getting there. I chose this major as a route of getting into the faculty I wanted to get into, but then last year I didn't get accepted in, and so now I'm not trying again till next year (long story). The hardest part is is that I know that I will end up having to use my major before I can specialize in the proposed faculty. And I don't feel confident in using my major. Then after that, well after working for a while, I want to get my masters, but again, not in my major area.

I guess it all hinges on getting into the proposed faculty and if I don't, then it'll be taking time off and re-evaluating and trying something new.

In some respects, I think it's better to find something you're really interested in and study that, but at the same time, if you're not going to have a job when you come out, what's the point? If you're looking at being an interpreter, we should talk... it's not as easy as going to uni for 4 years...

Why does this all have to be so complicated?
