because the act of swabbing...
takes bacterial and viral particles etc that hang around entrances...
where normally or usually they remain around the entrances...
and normally or usually there are secretions around the entrances... the acid mantle... acidic secretions that denature proteins etc... also antibodies that are secreted by the body to act as a line of defence...
and the swab takes a good sample of what's on the surface (we aren't wiping to try and steralise people's nasal entrance -- right?) and pushes or shoves it up high past all the defences to the must vulnerable place.
the act of swabbing does that.
so the covid that may have been have been hanging about by the entrance... is mechanically carried up by teh swab bypassing the bodies natural defences.
like how an upper respiratory cold (which can be managed or handled by the body in 7-10 days) gets forced into the deepest parts of the lungs by a ventillator that has been set to ventillate a 70kg male average lung (or similar).
but we don't learn mechanimsms so nobody knows. right? its that the stupid people are selected by stupid luck. right?
