Soooo...

For some unfathomable reason the Nintendo Pro Controller has Steam Support. Just saying. I guess that shows how much Steam has been profiting from having Nintendo Games made available for Steam purchase for play on PC or Non-Nintendo Systems.

So I feel a bit stupid... But I actually thought that Nintendo was Sony (the maker of PlayStation). I didn't know that it wasn't... Hur... I also thought Nintendo was Sega. Hmm...

But there is something with Nintendo and Sega... It makes sense that the Sega Software go to Nintendo since they are still in the hand-held gaming market. Which is encroached upon all the time as more and more and more people acquire lap-top computers that are capable of playing games.

______

I will admit that I have thought about buying an upgraded nintendo devise. I mean to say I have been looking into the prices of OLED and so on since I got my lite. Not because I am disappointed... BUt there is an element of playing down a corridor and you can't alter the FOV and there is a mild motion sickness. It is true. Things are perfectly playable... But it is an aspect or feature... And you are somewhat locked in with the purchase of game cards as the obvious investment. Right.

That's what I mean about it being the gateway drug.

Hopefully they will honor their investors by developing newer systems that are backwards compatible with game cartridges (while inspiring continued investment in new game cartridges). For sure.

They could also do more with their accessories (which are currently being supplied by US market). I mean the high quality accessories like cases and so on... Those sorts of things, people will pay when they are investing in something collectable. There's that sense about it.

Like how there's all this kerfuffle about physical books vs online books, right? But if you talk to people who really are deeply into their studies or whatever then people have the sense that quality items are collectable lin their physical form. People who don't undersetand the value of that.. Are welcome to subside it. In the many ways they can by paying and repaying and rerepaying etc for various ports...

I don't see any bugs in Animal Crossing. The trouble / difficulty is that I don't have any friends with a Switch Console and a copy of the game. And the real value of the game is when you are part of a community where everyone has their own console, their own cartridge, and their own island. It's not really my kind of game... But that's cool. I didn't buy it for that game, honestly.

If there was a particular game... It was Fire Emblem 3 Houses with the knowledge that Elder Schools was also available (that was a must have on my next hardware purchase for gaming because I wanted it for so long and everybody says it is amazing and must have and it is exactly my style of game). And seeing the various cartridges that were available and how they seemed to be porting more and more rather than less and less. And wanting to invest in something not blizard not apple and not microsoft. So there.

Japan gave Yakuza to gamepass...

It is time for a bit more credit for Japan...
