She is right about how there is a person who knows what is going on. What went wrong. Someone on the ground level who knows. Who has the information that is needed to be acted upon so that things could actually be future-proofed. So harms wouldn't happen again. If that was the aim. The goal. The reason. The purpose. Someone on the ground who has the information.
And then there are the politicians. And gee, they like the sound of their own voices and they really like to talk. Don't they.

The problem is that instead of the 'world leaders' leading by example and doing what they wanted to see more of and teaching and so on...
They decided that they would go about underminig and stabotaging everything else to ensrue 'there is no alternative'.
I mean.. Instead of Harvard upholding standards and leading by example... They stop. They go 'how low can we go?' and then turn their attention towards ensuring that what little they do is better than everyone and eerywehre else by eliminating the alternatives.
I mean... How crappy does NZ need to be kept so that Harvard can feel good about itself as an institution? HOw sh*tty does every other nation need to keep it's universities so that Harvard can pat itself on teh back for leading the way (with admissions policies and so on)
