once upon a time there was no vaccine.
and various people rocked up to their jobs... and did their jobs.
back when we had no idea of the route of transmission.
that is to say, we did not know if drinking water might be contaminated. we did not know. we did not know if the surface of food might be contaminated. we did not know. we did not know if it was airborne. we did not know.
and various people took all kinds of precautions. to keep themselves safe. to keep doing their jobs.
we did not know if the virus was passed from children to children to adults. we did not know.
and various people went to work.
when there was no vaccine.
various people went to work.
and they managed... through various things... through washing their hands. through hand sanitiser. through face masks. through various things... they managed to keep themselves safe.
they managed to provide essential service during the lockdown. through the lockdown. when everyone else huddled in their houses... they worked through the lockdown when there was no vaccine.
and now that there is a vaccine we say:
my way or the highway! take your vaccine or you are fired!!!
and nobody has a problem with that?
