i thought it was quite nice. maybe a little corny... but mostly nice. i agree that it is important to look after yourself. even if your main thing in life is looking after others... you need to look after yourself first to be in the place to look properly after them. i really honestly do believe this.

but i'm perhaps not known for my generosity of spirit. sigh.

do you have some little things to do to look after yourself? i remember having to pick some from Linehan's list...

- going for walks. this was before my injuries... but still, i really like nature walks. trees in particular. hearing birds.

- foam rolling. i know it is a bit weird but an hour with a foam roller is a self care thing that i do that really helps me. other people like getting a massage, i guess.

what do you have? what little things do you like to do?
