Actually, she is going to a film school next year to ultimately get her masters degree in directing.
Last year she directed a play called Dogface, winning honourable mention at regionals in the province-wide One Acts Drama Festival. She was the only Grade 11 director to win an award.
This year she is directing a play written by a classmate called Child Killers. It has 2 performers; the female you discover is the protagonist's "feminine side". It is about the trials and tribulations of teenagers growing up in today's world.
Of a sadder note, the Cappies judges just released their reviews of Bye Bye Birdie, & Ana was only mentioned in one of five reviews. She is devastated. Really, she did do a wonderful job, the audience roared when she delivered her lines. Oh well, that's show business.
