Partial response to Zoloft?

Posted by Meatwood_Flack on July 19, 2012, at 21:00:32

I went through an unsuccessful trial of Zoloft (generic) a few months ago, but experienced something strange when I reached 50 mg. For two consecutive days each week for three weeks (six days total), once late afternoon rolled around, my mood lifted considerably, if not completely, and much more than the small lift in mood that occurs later each evening than the aforementioned episodes. Would those constitute partial response even though I never experienced it again (The last time it happened, I was at pdocs office and she bumped me up to 100 mg)? This last occurence was also shorter lived, only a couple of hours. Has this sort of thing happened to anyone else? Is it a clue that might help further treatment choices?
