Hi folks...
How long am I looking at taking for this course? General estimates..
I am looking to take the French course..but it is 399 smackers at BestBuy. I have seen they also have an 'online' program which is cheaper and you can pay in installments. What should I do??..lol.
If am succesful..I can get some very..very good paying jobs here in Canada. But I also love French and French-Canadian culture..as I am part French-Canadian. French-Canadians are much like Europeans...they take time with family and friends as more important than work-life. (My Mom spoke only French until she was 8 years old...she was born in Montreal.) Also...most of my relatives in Quebec are quite old so I can't really learn off them..and many others I have lost contact with. I know a bit of 'pigeon French'..just a basic understanding of very simple words. I am not good in writting French."I am not afraid of death, I just don't want to be there when it happens."
